AHH — Privacy Policy

AHH collects no data. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It does not connect to a network — the app contains no networking code at all — so there is nothing for it to transmit and nowhere for it to transmit to.

The microphone

AHH is an app you shout at, so it asks for the microphone. What it does with it is narrower than that sounds: the audio is measured for loudness and vowel shape as it arrives, and then it is gone. Nothing is recorded. No audio file is created, kept, buffered to disk, or sent anywhere — there is nowhere to send it to. What survives from a burst of shouting is a count of how many words were cleared, and nothing else.

The app also has a Silent Mode, in which you tap instead of shouting and the app produces a shout on your behalf through your headphones. That sound is generated on your device by the speech synthesis built into iOS. Silent Mode does not open the microphone at all.

What the app stores on your device

A few small values, inside the app’s own private container on your iPhone:

  • This week’s counts — how many words you have cleared out loud and how many in Silent Mode.
  • The language you picked for the app’s own interface.

Neither leaves your device, and neither contains anything about you. Both are removed when you delete the app. There is no cloud save and no way for us to read, restore, or transfer them.

No personal data, no tracking

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifier, or device identifiers. We do not track you, and we do not share or sell data — because we hold none. Beyond the microphone, AHH asks for no permissions: no camera, no photo library, no contacts, no location, no notifications.

Information Apple may provide to us

Independently of the app, Apple may give us aggregate App Store statistics and anonymous crash reports — and only if you have chosen to share diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings. That is a service Apple operates; the app itself sends nothing, and we cannot identify you from what Apple provides. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

Children

AHH has no user-generated content, no chat, no external links, and no purchases. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of AHH ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date above will change. This page always describes the version currently on the App Store.
